Double-coated fire hose
Structure
From the inside to the outside, it generally consists of a wear-resistant rubber lining, a fiber braided layer, etc., with coatings on the inner wall of the lining and the outer wall of the braided layer respectively.
Coating Materials and Their Functions
- Inner Coating: High molecular materials with wear resistance and corrosion resistance, such as, are used to prevent the inner wall of the hose from being eroded by fire extinguishing media.
- Outer Coating: It is mostly made of high molecular flexible coatings with wear resistance, aging resistance, oil resistance and chemical corrosion resistance, such as PU, polyacrylate, etc. It can improve the wear resistance of the hose and is convenient for cleaning.

- Good Wear Resistance: The double-sided coating effectively reduces the wear of the hose during dragging and friction, and prolongs its service life.
- Corrosion Resistance: It can resist the erosion of chemical substances in the fire extinguishing media and the external environment.
- Aging Resistance: The outer coating can delay the aging of the hose caused by factors such as sun exposure and oxidation.
- High Strength: The fiber braided layer provides high-strength support. Combined with the coating, the hose can withstand high pressure.
